About the Event
A six-week worship series called, “Bible Stories That Make Us LOL,” will begin on Sunday, September 24, as we take a look at some strange and somewhat amusing passages in our holy text. Contemporary worship will take place in person and online (www.mstarlc.church) at 9:15 AM, and traditional worship will take place in person at 11:15 AM. All are welcome!
The first message in the series, “The Kid Who Won’t Sleep,” is rooted in 1 Samuel 3:2-9.
The second message in the series, “The Whiny Prophet,” is rooted in Jonah 4:4-7.
The third message in the series, “The Cursed Fig Tree,” is rooted in Mark 11:12–14.
The fourth message in the series, “The Sleepyhead,” is rooted in Mark 4:35-41.
The fifth message in the series, “The Man Who Jumps in the Lake,” is rooted in John 21:1-7.
he final message in the series, “The Most Boring Sermon Ever,” is rooted in Acts 20:7-12.
