About the Event
A seven-week worship series called “I AM: Seeing Life Through Stained Glass” will begin on Sunday, July 23, as we explore the words on the stained glass windows in the Morning Star sanctuary. Contemporary worship will take place in person and online (www.mstarlc.church) at 9:15 AM, and traditional worship will take place in person at 11:15 AM. All are welcome!
The first message in the series, Sunday July 23, is rooted in John 6:30-35 and Jesus’ proclamation, “I AM the Bread of Life."
The second message in the series, Sunday July 30, is rooted in John 8:12-20 and Jesus’ proclamation, “I AM the Light of the World."
The third message in the series, Sunday August 6, is rooted in John 10:1-10 and Jesus’ proclamation, “I AM the Gate."
The fourth message in the series, Sunday August 13, is rooted in John 10:11-18 and Jesus’ proclamation, “I AM the Good Shepherd."
The fifth message in the series, Sunday August 20, is rooted in John 11:17-27 and Jesus’ proclamation, “I AM the Resurrection and the Life."
The sixth message in the series, Sunday August 27, is rooted in John 14:1-7 and Jesus’ proclamation, “I AM the Way, the Truth and the Life."
The final message in the series, Sunday September 3, is rooted in John 15:1-11 and Jesus’ proclamation, “I AM the Vine."
