Over 20 years ago the LightHouse Pantry was established at Morning Star United Methodist Church. A group of concerned individuals decided they wanted to help families one need in Dona Ána County. The pantry was born. The food and clothing was originally kept in a small closet in the sanctuary and served only a few families every month. Now we feed and clothe over 200 families a month!

What We Do

The Lighthouse Pantry of Morning Star UMC, serves families  in need in Doña Ana County by providing the following:

-   Emergency and supplemental food and clothing

-   Health screening and referral services

-   Books and stuffed animals

-   Hygiene products

-   Other services as identified

The guiding policies of this ministry are based on Christian principles as well as guidelines from state and federal agencies that help provide funding and a source of commodity food items.

We are open the first and third Tuesday of every month from 9 to 11 AM at Morning Star United Methodist.
