who are visiting for the first time, lead a Sunday School class, serve during worship, help with administrative tasks throughout the week, volunteer for our food pantry or find another way to serve that fits your schedule. Get involved! Gather, grow, give and go!
Morning Star Youth
We believe God has a place for everyone. Come explore who God is and how Jesus laid down his life for everyone and what that means for us. As a youth group, we meet regularly for encouragement through the Word of God, hangouts with friends, discussion about real life topics and a time of interactive worship. Join us every week on Sunday and Wednesday.
Sunday Service: 11:15am
Wednesday Service 5:30pm-7:00pm
Groups and Activities
Through one of our Grow Classes or small groups you can get connected to Morning Star and stay connected as well as grow in Christ. There are tons to choose from for every age and interest!
Our Children's Ministry provides a place where all children can know, understand, and grow in God’s love. Children will be equipped with a biblical foundation that, in God’s timing, might lead them into a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. We also want to be a place where kids can’t wait to go to church, so we provide ample opportunities for children to gather in fellowship and fun throughout the year. Check us out!
At Morning Star, our College Ministry is a work in progress. We have teamed up with the Wesley Foundation at NMSU and are in the process of making a ministry that is purposeful and meaningful. If you have wanted to be a part of something from the ground up, now is the time to be a part of the College Ministry at Morning Star.
The primary focus of Congregational Care here at Morning Star is to care for congregation members and friends who are sick, injured, homebound, lonely, or in need. We use a team-centered model which allows everyone opportunities to participate in caring for each other. We coordinate visitations, phone calls, and one-on-one Christian care. We also look for ways to provide assistance for short-term needs after a hospitalization, illness or injury, such as meals, transportation, or companionship.
