Maundy Thursday
"Do You Know What I Have Done?"

The word “maundy” comes from Latin roots and is related to our word for “commandment.” In our tradition, the night before Good Friday calls us to a remembrance of Jesus in the Upper Room with his friends, sharing a meal with them and washing their feet just before he was arrested.

We will greet the sunrise with a worship service outside on the grounds of Morning Star Church. This service will include celebration in song, an observance of Holy Communion, a community reading of the Easter story and an interactive symbol of transformation.
