ELECTRONIC GIVING IS
SECURE, QUICK AND EASY!
One-time gifts are simple to set up using a debit or credit card, or from a bank account.
Recurring gifts can be set up on a schedule that works for you, and provide flexibility to track and manage your giving. By setting up a bank transfer, you will save the church approximately 2% compared to credit card fees. We discourage the use of credit cards if you will incur debt in the process.

Why We Give
Everything we have belongs to God, and we are simply managing those resources while here on earth. Through our tithes and offerings, we demonstrate in a tangible way our love for God and our neighbors. Each year, we ask our members to commit to their tithes and offerings for the coming year in support of our church's ministry and mission. We do this for three reasons:
All we have is a gift from God, so we believe that giving to God's work is an act of worship.
At Morning Star, giving is an expectation of membership. The church does not specify how much an individual should give, but we hope each person will commit a percentage of their income and increase that amount as they are able.
Annual giving makes possible: worship, programs for children and students, Bible studies, small groups, pastoral care and support, mission trips and community projects.
WAYS YOU CAN DONATE:
As the offering plate makes its way around, take the time to bless not only the offering we make on a Sunday but also the offering we will make throughout the week. There are envelopes available in the seat backs to make giving easier.
Online giving is safe and convenient. It is easy to make a onetime gift or to set up a recurring gift by clicking on the giving button above.

STEWARDSHIP & GENEROSITY
At the heart of our philosophy of giving is a commitment to the good stewardship of our God-given resources. For us, stewardship is a way of life that recognizes that everything we have is God’s and we are simply managing those resources here on earth.
For the past few years, Morning Star has been dreaming and planning to build new spaces that would reach future generations and provide tools for ministry for the future.
