Easter Sunrise

For thousands of years, followers of Jesus have met at sunrise to celebrate his resurrection with cries of “Christ is risen! Christ is risen, indeed! Hallelujah!”
This tradition continues on Sunday, April 5, at 6:30 AM on the patio of Morning Star Church and online (mstarlc.church and YouTube). This time of worship, called “Beauty in Brokenness: Wonder,” will include the lighting of the Christ candle from the fire of the Holy Saturday vigil, the singing of favorite hymns and songs and a collective reading of scripture.
